Jared has been a member of our design team since 2012. We initially hired Jared to help out on rendering custom-designed triathlon apparel using Adobe Illustrator. This job requires an understanding of apparel patterns, proficiency in the software, customer requirements, creativity and problem-solving capabilities. Jared was quick to learn and easy to train. But these skills are easy to come by. You can go online now and find a huge number of freelance designers at the ready, with enough skills to get the job done. What sets Jared apart is all that he does on top of the design work.
Jared has an excellent attitude, utter reliability, and a very well-honed and professional approach to customers. In addition to design work, he has taken full responsibility for the customer service of our individual customization program in which he successfully managed hundreds of projects, each with it's own unique set of challenges. The customer response to Jared has been 100% positive, with many going out of their way to praise his work and attitude.
Jared has also branched out into sales, having successfully brought in several significant clients. This once again shows his desire and ability to go beyond what is expected. Jared at JL Photography & Design is an exceptional graphic designer that I would highly recommend with an A+++ review. Jared is a phenomenal designer who is able to efficiently and effectively translate our visions onto “paper”. This is an extraordinary skill, that when coupled with his excellent listening skills, make him a most valuable marketing resource. Being able to translate a vision effortlessly and correctly, while communicating consistently and quickly is a rare skillset indeed. We first came to Jared with a terribly tight timeline and I’ll admit that I had low expectations for the end result given all of my restrictions – but Jared was somehow able to exceed my expectations, which even under ‘normal’ conditions is a very difficult thing to achieve! Throughout the design process he offered creative suggestions and was super responsive to discuss options. The workflow was seamless (or at least he made it seem that way to me!) The end-result was exactly what I needed – it was PERFECT. I’ve owned businesses for over 20 years and have worked with many designers over the decades, but I have finally found our #1 graphic design resource. He makes the process simple, and actually quite enjoyable! My only regret is not hiring JL Photography & Design sooner!
